Dear unlicensed thinker,
Ever notice how nothing seems to resolve anymore?
Since "two weeks to flatten the curve," it’s just been:
One major thing
→ replaced by the next
→ replaced again
No resolution.
Just… rotation.
One week it’s something that’s suddenly everywhere — the next it’s… a situation involving the moon.
And whatever came before?
Just… disappears.
Poof.
Gone.
(No follow-up required, apparently.)
At some point, you stop asking what’s happening — and start wondering how to get off this thing.
So I went looking.
Earlier than I’d like to admit.
Around 2022.
For an exit.
Which, as it turns out, isn't something you just… find.
At least not immediately.
At first it was just pieces.
Different ideas. Different paths. Different people.
Trusts, crypto, off-grid, legal loopholes, barter… and whatever else the internet throws at you at 2am.
But no obvious way out.
Just pieces everywhere.
Nothing quite connecting it all.
(That would’ve been too easy.)
Like everyone’s holding a piece of something — but no one’s showing the whole board. Which is when I probably should’ve stopped looking — but didn’t.
Eventually —
Something started to take shape.
And at some point, it occurred to me... I might be looking at a small, mildly interesting discovery.
Short version:
I think I found 'the board.'
And once you see it, everything else — all those scattered "exit strategies" — start to snap into place.
I’m putting the finishing touches on it now.
Could take a few weeks — apparently, turning a mildly suspicious discovery into something practical requires a bit of… formatting.
Anyhoo...
If it lands the way I think it will… this doesn’t just become another idea.
It becomes a way of operating.
Something closer to a game.
A way off this thing.
An exit.
Stay slightly suspicious,
